MSC Players and Teams Travel the World in 2010

MSC Polaris 96 players Jaeden Chew, Carolyn Cox and Rebecca Mackey have departed the United States as a part of a select team traveling through Europe from July 5 to July 26. The girls, recommended by MSC technical staff, will train and play friendly matches in Berlin, Germany, as well as attend the World Cup Final match-watch in the town center, before taking part in the Dana Cup 1 in Fredrickshavn, Denmark. After the tournament, they will transfer to Sweden for the Gothia Cup, the world’s largest and most international youth soccer tournament.

Joining these MSC players at the Gothia Cup are the MSC United 97/98 boys, who make up the bulk of the AKFC 97/98 United squads that are registered for the tournament. To find out more on this team, please visit La Gazzetta dello AKFC, the team’s blog.

Also traveling during the month of July are three additional MSC Polaris 96 players, led by Peyton Johnstone, who will guest-play with the Crossfire Premier 97A girls at the Nike Crossfire Challenge in Redmond, WA, and then at the prestigious Surf Cup in San Diego. The Crossfire team Peyton is joining recently completed a semifinal run at the Far West Regionals.

Bayli Jenski will be joining the FFSC 95G for their tournament play at the USA Cup in Minnesota, while Ariana Saxon is also away, having joined her Alaskan teammates at the Region IV ODP camp. Good luck to all, from everyone with MSC!
